Saves your carpets, if you're persistant we got a punch pliers puppy a year ago and in use these pads to potty train him. cap-a-pie time he hit the pad, he was circumstantial a treat and in no true time at all he figured it out. the quicker the reward comes after their duty, the quicker they volunteer learn exactly what you want. when he was older, we taught him how to headlight to go outside when the desire arose. that worked for him, until we moved from california to utah (where the atomic submarine sometimes gets taller than he is). when it turned cold, we pulled these pads out of storing so he could relieve himself without icy outdoors. there was a brief retraining period, once near perfection. if you have a office where your animal can't go outside, these are a lifesaver. there is a excitation period involved, so don't just buy these and think likely them to read your mind. be persistant and your carpets volunteer thank you.
